The University has the mandate of providing comprehensive legal education at all levels and award degrees or diplomas to successful candidates. The undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programs have been designed to enable students, depending on their inclination, to either opt for niche specializations or inter-disciplinary breadth. This is exemplified by the wide range of electives offered in the under-graduate program; the opportunity to obtain a general or specialized LLM degree; a law informed management course and a doctoral program which can be pursued by persons from any discipline provided the topic of research has a legal interface. In addition to these degrees, the University offers a range of highly specialized diploma courses.
Thus the academic programs at NALSAR are driven by faculty expertise and student interest. The learning space in the University has been laid open for faculty and students to pursue their passions as we do believe that those learning quests yield best results which are voluntarily pursued. The teaching community and the University infrastructure are only aimed at helping all learners to discover themselves.
