Abdul Waheed is Associate Professor Sociology, Aligarh Muslim University. Whilst he has studied Indian Muslims generally and Muslims of UP more particularly, he is especially interested in the community of Muslims in UP called Banjaras who have not been studied by any other sociologist. He has authored/edited five books on the socio-economic status of Indian Muslims.

Amar Nath Ram retired from the Indian Foreign Service after 36 years of distinguished service. He served as India’s Ambassador to Argentina, Belgium, Bhutan, European Union, Thailand, UN ESCAP and Zambia. He has been closely associated with South and Southeast Asian Affairs, particularly the Lookeast policy in its initial phase. He has recently edited a book on two decades of the Lookeast policy.

Archana Parashar an established exponent of feminist thought. She argues that responsible scholarship should accompany scholastic power and scholar should not hide behind constructs of neutrality and objectivity. Dr Parashar holds the position of Associate Professor at Macquarie University, Sydney Australia. Her book Women and Family Law Reform in India ( Sage 1992) is a recognised classic in the field. She has subsequently co-edited Engendering Law : Essays in Honour of Lotika Sarkar ( EBC 1999) Redefining Family Law Reform in India ( Routledge 2008) and Decolonisation of Legal Knowledge ( Routledge 2009).

B. Prakash Rao was Judge on the Andhra Pradesh High Court from 1999 till May 2011. He was the Acting Chief Justice of the Court in November- December 2010. He has a special interest in the law of precedents, possession and the Constitution.

G S Sachdeva is a renowned expert in the field of air and space law whose expertise is drawn upon by several academic and governmental organisations. Gabor Gombos is a world renowned disability rights activist whose radical advocacy of the rights of persons with psychosocial disabilities were narrated by Kerry Kennedy in her book Speak Truth to Power: Human Rights Defenders who are Changing our World (Crown 2000) along with 50 other leading human rights defenders. Prof.Gombos was the member of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities from 2011 to 2013. Amongst his significant publications are the Hungarian Alternative Report( 2010) and Catalysing Self Advocacy : An Experiment in India (2009). Prof Gombos offered a course on International Human Rights Law in Practice in January -April 2014

Jahar Saha former Director of IIM Ahmedabad has specialized in productive and quantitative methods at the Institute. He has also taught at Lake Erie College and Visiting Professor at University of New Brunswick Canada. Prof Saha expertise is drawn upon by several management institutes, public and private enterprises.

Laxmi Narain was Fulbright fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Business in 1980 has retired as Dean, Faculty of Commerce, Osmania University. He has been on the Board of Directors of several private and public enterprises including the State of Hyderabad. He is Independent Director with Alumeco India Extrusion, Ltd and has published ten books and more than 50 papers.

Nawneet Vibhaw is a Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. and specialises in environmental advisory and environmental disputes. He regularly appears in environmental matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, High Courts and the National Green Tribunal (NGT) and has been advising clients in diverse environment related matters in various sectors, including on issues relating to Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) aspects. Nawneet received his B.A., LL.B.(Hons.) degree from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and his LL.M. degree in Environment, Energy and Climate Change from Lewis & Clark Law School, Portland, Oregon, USA.  

Nawneet has authored three books on environment, energy and climate change, published by LexisNexis and has received awards and fellowships from Belgian Science Policy Office (BELSPO), UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI), Robert Bosch Foundation, Asian Development Bank and Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India. Nawneet has been recognized as a key lawyer for environmental disputes by Legal 500 in 2022, as one amongst the top 100 lawyers in India by Forbes India in 2021 and as one amongst the top 40 legal professionals under the age of 40 in India by Business World Legal in 2020 (BW Legal 40 under 40).

He has also been actively contributing to chapters in international publications and columns and articles in mainstream Indian media and publications such as Economic Times, Financial Express, LiveMint, The Hindu, Fortune India, Statesman, Business Standard, VCCircle, DNA, Mondaq and Lexology. He has also taught Environmental Law and Energy Law at National Law University Delhi and Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat between 2011 and 2015. He has been involved in several speaking engagements at prestigious seminars and conferences related to environment, sustainability and climate change in India, USA, UK, Australia, Germany, Spain, Philippines and Belgium.

Dr. Nehaluddin Ahmad is currently serving as a Professor of Law at Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, Brunei Darussalam. He has served as a Professor, Visiting Professor, Associate Professor and Lecturer at several academic institutions in India, Tanzania, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam. He has held a range of posts such as Dean Faculty of Law and Chairman of Centre for Technology and Legal Research and Senate member of University. He has also been appointed as an adjunct Professor of Law at Bhoj University, Bhopal, India and adjunct Associate Professor of Law, Multimedia University, Malaysia. He holds a LL.D. (Doctor of Laws) from Meerut University, India, a LL.M. (Master of Laws in IT and Telecom. Law) from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, and also holds a LL.M .and M.A, LL.B. from  Lucknow University, India .He has got several years of professional experience including teaching of Law subjects and legal practice. He was admitted at the Bar Council of India (UP), 1976, and has practiced as an advocate at Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court, India for a couple of years. He is a prolific legal researcher and had contributed more than 100 research papers in international refereed journals in USA, U.K, Malaysia, India, South Korea, Germany, Netherlands, Prague and Australia and several of them are published in ISI/Scopus/ ERA/Ulrich/Wash Law indexed publications. He also authored law books and several book chapters.

S Bhatt has more than forty years of experience in civil aviation administration, legal policy matters, drafting or amending of primary aviation legislation and detailed civil aviation regulations. His expertise has been drawn upon by several countries including Botswana, Tajikstan. He has written widely on air and space; the plight of Kashmiri Pandits and Environment Laws and Sustainable Development.

S Rama Rao, a doctorate in law from Jawaharlal Nehru University is Director, World Intellectual Property Organization, New York since 2008. He first went to WIPO in 1998 on deputation from Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. His expertise has guided training and capacity building and fed into policy making.  

Sunil Kumar graduated from NALSAR in 2004 and since then he is working to secure land rights for the poor. Presently, he is State Director of Landesa in India. He has worked on access to justice and land rights issues for more than a decade. He has played a pivotal role in the design and implementation of the Land Paralegal Program as part of the World Bank funded poverty alleviation project.

Tariq Khan is currently working as the Registrar of the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad. He is a former Partner of Advani & Co., New Delhi, which is India’s oldest arbitration law firm. He is enlisted in the Forbes Legal Powerlist, 2020-2021 as one of the top individual lawyers and the youngest lawyer listed in BW (Business World) Legal 40 under 40, 2020. He has been recognized as an Arbitration Expert by SCCOnline.

He has authored several books including a commentary on Indian Arbitration Law. He has been teaching arbitration as a guest faculty for the past seven years in some of the prominent law schools of India and has more than 50 publications on arbitration to his credit.

He has been practicing as a lawyer in the Delhi High Court and has significant experience in domestic and international arbitrations, commercial disputes, writs, MSME disputes, Insolvency & Bankruptcy cases.

Vepa Kamesam was the Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India ( 2001-2003). The Chairman of IDRBT Hyderabad of RBI ( 2001-2004) and BRBMNP Ltd Bangalore ( 2003-2005) and Director National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development( 2001-03) and National Hosing Bank ( 2001-03). He Represented RBI at the IMF Conference on Trade and other central bankers meets at Basel, Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Mexico and Sri Lanka.
