Gabor Gombos is a world renowned disability rights activist whose radical advocacy of the rights of persons with psychosocial disabilities were narrated by Kerry Kennedy in her book Speak Truth to Power: Human Rights Defenders who are Changing our World (Crown 2000) along with 50 other leading human rights defenders. Prof.Gombos was the member of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities from 2011 to 2013. Amongst his significant publications are the Hungarian Alternative Report( 2010) and Catalysing Self Advocacy : An Experiment in India (2009). Prof Gombos offered a course on International Human Rights Law in Practice in January -April 2014
