
Dr. Raju Guntukula

Dr. Raju Guntukula currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Economics at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Prior to this, Dr. Raju rendered his services at Mahindra University, SRM University AP and Siva Sivani Institute of Management, Hyderabad. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad. He earned his Master’s in Economics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Telangana. He also qualified for the UGC-Junior Research Fellowship and National Eligibility Test.
Dr. Raju has published his research work in internationally acclaimed journals of Sage, Wiley and Emerald, which are indexed in Scopus, Web of Science and ABDC. He received the Best Paper Award from the Telangana Economic Association in recognition of one of his research papers. Dr. Raju is a life member of several professional organizations such as The Indian Econometrics Society (TIES), Indian Economic Association (IEA), Agricultural Economics Research Association and Telangana Economic Association.

His doctoral thesis provided a comprehensive analysis of the impacts of climate change on major crop yields in Telangana, evaluated the vulnerability of local farming households, and critically examined their adaptation responses to climatic stresses.
His research interests include the economics of climate change, vulnerability, agricultural economics, energy economics and other interdisciplinary areas.
