Nivedha S

Ms. Nivedha is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Her areas of specialisation include Direct and Indirect Taxes, International Taxation Law, Transfer pricing and Corporate Finance and Taxation.

She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, where she was also associated with the Research Centre on Alternate Dispute Resolution. She also coordinated the online certificate course on sports law and dispute resolution and the online certificate course on mediation at RGNUL.

Ms. Nivedha holds a B.A., B.L. (Hons.) and an LL.M. in Taxation Law from the School of Excellence in Law, TNDALU, Chennai. She was the First Rank Holder in her LL.M. programme and received the Hon'ble Mr. Justice M. Srinivasan Gold Medal for Hindu Law during her undergraduate studies. She is currently pursuing her doctoral research in the field of International Tax at TNDALU.

She has taught a wide range of taxation subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels including General Principles of Taxation, Law of Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax, the Constitution and Local Taxes of India, Tax and IPR, Comparative Tax Laws, International Taxation, and Law relating to Tax Planning and Economic Development. She is also the Associate Editor of the Journal of the Department of Taxation Law (JDTL), published by TNDALU.

Ms. Nivedha has published in various peer-reviewed and UGC-recognised journals and has presented papers at national and international conferences and seminars.
